Here’s my two cents:

That announcement highlights two things-

(1) a dependence on Carters IP and goodwill that needs to change- while trying to mask it it was very clear that time stopped on several projects without him around. This risk needs to be addressed immediately by the board and cannot continue.

(2) the board needs to deliver some accountability. Carter, Philips and the other guy need to be accountable to the board and shareholders and stop using words like ‘progressing’ and ‘advanced’ and put targets on their heads to deliver.

They need to quickly assess and reduce the risk or you will never be able to make Carter accountable as he will be able to float along earning 350k because all of the goodwill is in his head.


Hopper, drop the hammer and bring in some of your own people, and give the existing ones a short leash to produce, otherwise punt them out the door.
