This is all in my opinion so not worth much at all, but I believe that BIT are venturing into a new area and analysing the findings from the trial and determining what it means takes time. This is why only having the meeting now. I for one was glad to see minimal spending in the previous qtrly statement. I hope to see minimal spending again when the yearly statement comes out. The spending this half year will be significantly more, however I foresee that the options will be in the money and will be underwritten and mostly converted (I hold a fair few and intend to convert at this point in time) so this should easily cover any costs.

I imagine over the past nine months the conversations with pharma would have gone, "we've found that BIT225 can do....." and they would have responded, "this is very interesting. Do some further analysis and come back to us with how we can use this with..."

They may have failed the primary objective as you have stated many times before, but the trial was exploratory and in their opinion there was a statistically significant outcome within it (we have discussed this in detail already also). Once again I believe they have been spending their time focusing on this.

I agree they are nowhere near phase 3 at this point in time. I have stated many times before that I believe that BIT225 will need to be part of a combination drug - possibly a 'next gen' drug - I don't know. But if this is the case they won't be going straight to phase 3 without a very strong case to do so.

BIT225 definitely wouldn't be getting shelved. I haven't quiet worked out why you believe MM and the BIT team have no integrity - from my understanding you've never worked at ANU and can't see where you would have crossed paths with any of them in the past - but I have faith that the announcements they make are not deceptive or misleading and am excited on what may come.
