Most investors still use the media and their broker as their primary sources of news. They aren't on HC either. The bulk of retail investors started investing before they had the internet. A lot of boomers still use their brokers, and the generations above certainly do.

More recently there has been a trend to moving towards the internet, but I would note that I very much doubt someone will make a decision to buy or not to buy Woodside based on SNE. As per my list, there are far more valuable projects and aspect to the company most people would be researching first.

It's not just about if someone would be swayed, it's about whether they are likely to see it. I'd say a delay to the exploitation report at a time when WPL is saying no delay to FID is enough even those investors going down the burrow won't read to much into it. If FID is on track, the exploitation plan is just noise. If the delays within the margins of the original plan, then it doesn't matter, at least to a woodside shareholder...

I really don't understand why you seem to think WPL should provide a response on this, and I don't understand why you keep wanting to argue a point that WPL should respond to the claim directly.. saying FID is on track is about the best you will get from a major and that really is the important milestone. I know you want to read a lot into the lack of a response, but the future and current value of WPL doesn't revolve around SNE there are other areas of greater focus.
