Excellent proposition watso. A statue of the Esteemed Tony Abbott to a height of 100 metres would be marvellous.
After giving the matter even more considered thought this Friday evening I have now four propositions for a statue of Tony Abbott ( at a height of up to 100 metres ):
- a statue erected on a plinth on a purpose - built island off Little Manly Beach so that ferry-riders may be able to see and pay homage as their ferries roll on towards the pier
- a statue erected upon the Corso at Manly there visible to all villagers and all visitors
- a statue erected in the grounds of the former St Patrick's Seminary ( where Abbott was indeed once a student ) that land owned of course in perpetuity by the Roman Catholic Church
-a statue erected upon a giant plinth between 2-5 kilometres out to see off the coast of Manly Beach that great monument to be visible up and down the coast of Greater Sydney from the Cronulla to Palm Beach and visible to all merchant and cruise ships which entering Sydney enabling all aboard to pay homage

I shall be writing to the Prime Minister this coming week to seek Commonwealth funding for this splendid project.
