Reading the article made me recall the downrampers who claimed right from the start that no suitable workforce could be sourced locally. Well, 97% of the 400-odd workforce are locals and trained by Lucapa too, I expect, a record to be proud of in such a short timeframe. A great read about a thoroughly under appreciated asset, before long Lucapa’s fortunes should change for the better on the back of Mothae progress and the increasing production at Lulo AND the upgraded kimberlite hunt now under way.
