Good morning Simon ... and yes I am intrigued..
But as you know, I like companies where I can find ‘the heart’...( on the basis of ‘back jockeys not horses’ and because I can develop a confirmation bias about those ones).
The other important factors (for me, for ‘genuine’ investment) are solid fundamentals ...and I trust your grip on these and appreciate your sharing...
And that secret incredibly powerful ingredient, TA.
..It seems the threads here were busy back in earlier days, including with lots of technical analysis but none from @Saragian who, as you also know, posts extraordinary ‘weather maps’ at a favourite company and lots of other locations as well.
(and good morning Saragian and I tagged you to say hello, but also in hope you might also furnish this thread with your technical perspectives if you have time,... and cheers )
Returning to the heart, I need to look at the new CEO and shareholders because the ‘old guard’ really did seem to be. A bit ruthless and even piratical .
Eg thit bit in one of my links yesterday;
“Federal investigators were willing to go easy on Finley because of her eagerness to testify against co-conspirators, particularly her former boss, Bruce Higgins. As an Australian citizen, Higgins has escaped prosecution in the United States, but he may yet find himself in legal trouble in his own country.”
.....made me curious about ex ‘bigwig’ Bruce Higgins .
An old story on the matter here: disallowed/business/australian-busi...-redflex-us-bribery-case-20140909-10e4qf.html
...And then there is former chairman, Chris Cooper; May 9, 2011 -disallowed/business/red-faces-predicted-over-305m-bid-for-redflex-20110508-1ee6c.html
Also see https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/1979130/single back in 2006 for a measure of his popularity /ethics
The SMH story said “Mr Cooper's family controls 11 per cent of Redflex and he holds 35,000 shares in his own name.”
As of the 2018 Annual Report, this is the shareholder information :...
Obvious Cooper holdings appear unchanged at 10.91%
