I just can't see Rodney (or anyone, for that matter) holding off on good news for this long (76 days and counting).
As has been said before, it's awfully expensive to keep testing rigs and crews on site for so long.
Rodney held onto the initial gold JORC for 14 days before he released it, so he obviously has a different idea than I do about what the continuous disclosure rules mean.
They may well have released the rig 3 weeks ago, the hole was plugged and everyone moved on, yet he'll let us know in his own good time. That's what is so discouraging about him.
The thing is, he has no oil industry experience. From his CV:-
Mr. Foster is a geologist with over 20 years experience in the gold exploration and mining industry in Western Australia and Victoria. His experience includes working for Pancontinental Mining at Paddington, Samantha Exploration, CSR’s Gold Resources Pty Ltd and North Kalgurli Mines on the Golden Mile, Money Mining NL and was founding Managing Director of Goldminco NL, a Victorian exploration company.
He doesn't want PRE to be an oil company! They might actually want to let him go and employ someone with relevant industry experience.
