As the scribes at Small Cap Investor have illustrated, such stocks get beaten down more than the heavies during a bear market but soar faster and higher when it turns. We have been in a bull market for so long that we don't remember anything else. I am hopeful that the underlying strength of the Australian economy will once again hold our heads above the turbulent global waters and that those investors and institutions currently panicking and sending us to the abyss will get a better sense of proportion. Australia should come out of all this earlier and better than others. It's just a matter of when.
