Stelios, what is your definition of broke? I don't know a single serious commentator who would not place the US on top of the wealthiest nations on the planet.
The US dollar, same as every other asset, is rising because it is in demand. More buyers than sellers. That seems to be a reasonable starting point. I have my view why that is - I just don't think you want to read it!
