Without slamming the incumbent management and head ECT engineer who for some reason or another still shows on his linkedin page that he is the Managing Director at ECT...My suggestions;
1) Board needs to get their hierarchy in order. Clear concise company roles and reporting structure. This inst always easy for small company's to establish correctly, however if it isn't done well things can fall between the scope of works gaps, or worse works that should be undertaken by employees gets done by external consultants at higher costs which may be happening by the looks of the outgoings historically here.
2) Pick a course / direction of product development and follow it through. Spreading the already thin resources over multiple projects, none of which are live revenues is poor business and a waste of money, time and effort. If its Latrobe then great, if its WTE then fantastic but pick one and nail it !!!
3) Once you have picked a clear product development strategy, Similar to the hiring of the Shri P Selvakumar go out and find the best candidate that can get you through the applicable doors and to the YES that this company desperately needs.
anyway just my two cents.. which ironically inst too far off the SP at the moment..
