I'm calling this a buy on any wash out today. The troubles with weather related performance and stubbornly high working capital has been well known and every analysts insider was all over these troubles getting worse the last 3 months (esp US and now heat wave in Europe). The shorts were indeed all thinking how clever they were, spreadsheets analysis and insider leaks all said liquidity is getting too tight, NUF needs a CR. Wait for the inevitable discount CR, cover into the CR or sell the news hard at first, shake the tree and cover on market.
Wrong! Management have made the best of a bad situation, essentially doing a CR at $5.85 less interest costs over two years in the mean time. Shorts will try to spook market at open probably but will be spewing in private and looking to try and cover on market now without a massive short squeeze. Prisoners dilemma haha, if they all hold the line then maybe they can hold it down for long enough to cover under the headwinds of an earnings downgrade (market was expecting anyway), but the first to break and cover quickly will get out with the least damage. I say the prisoners roll over on each other and all go it alone to save their own skins first. Love the smell of burning shorts, hope I'm right for holder's sake.
