Anyway back to sacking the punters and stopping the rot. The fact is any idea coming from the forum is not appropriate, the punters of Punt Road are paid huge sums to do this on a daily basis and I'm sure divesting time from our actual jobs to solve the self created problems by management is contrary to what management has been hired to do.
Let's look at the latest venture, WTE. As someone previously mentioned it was a plan of Germany in WWII to achieve energy independence from the Soviet Union by converting coal into fuel. indeed many countries are doing this today at varying scales for the same reason as Germany (that being to achieve energy independence and fuel security). OPEC has a lot of leverage on other nations and once energy independence is achieved you don't have to suck up to them anymore. The only problem with that (and indeed any future scenario) is that it requires a lot of energy, energy in the form of coal, so what happened was the Germans had to burn lots of coal to convert coal into fuel.

So that's one problem the second is that ECT are well and truly behind the 8 ball and likely to IMO be thoroughly smashed in any coal to fuel or hydrogen venture. This came out mere days ago at Forbes. In this scenario Japan lacks both coal and oil so has to come up with an alternative. I know ECT informally presented previously to some Japanese but they're far more likely IMO to use an existing case to see if it will be successful.

So what we have is some chaps with "ideas" on WTE however there's many other successful and commercialised companies in an already thriving industry. I though the whole point of this company was to commercialise new techs but IMO it seems they're trying to commercialise already commercialised techs with virtually no money. It's for this reason i believe an entire clean out is necessary.
