It will all depend on how you want to define "game changing". But since the phrase has come up in the context of Fred's Bart's particular use of it, I would say that Weebit is, in my opinion, game changing in much the same way that Audio Pixels is game changing. Audio Pixels are creating MEMS speakers. You can already buy yourself MEMS speakers. But Audio Pixels hope to bring the first fully-digital MEMS speaker to the market. Weebit are creating ReRAM to replace flash. There is already ReRAM on the market, and there are already other technologies to challenge flash. So I would see both Weebit and Audio Pixels as being early - but not the first - arrivals to the changing of the game.

That's my view comparing Weebit and Audio Pixels on their primary goals alone. If you bring the potential AI application of Weebit into the picture, that is game changing on yet another level. Although, like for ReRAM, Weebit won't be first the the spiking neural network hardware space ... but I'm not sure other entrants to the field share the calibre of board.
