Recent condition of part of CREC 7s nearby newly refurbished road in the region following the wet season. The same road CREC 7 imposed the tolls.
These roads were refurbished under the Chinese / DRC infrastructure for resources transaction. They rarely employ local labour and to charge US$10 for a 4WD or US$100 per truck is disgraceful considering the lack of road maintenance and the fact that the road maintenance and construction was already paid for under the deal. The Chinese had an obligation.
IMHO AVZ transport logistics and timeframes are woefully inadequate.
