Hi Lapdog,

All I'm referring to is at what price BHP will open the next day after it trades in the US and in London.

As you can see from the example I gave above, BHP opened at $39.78 which was close to the ADR's of $39.82. Just to give you another example, the day before, we opened at $39.02 and this was what Dow Jones said below. You'll see the ADR equivalent was $39.09. I've been following this for the last 2 months and I can assure you that most of the time this theory is correct when it comes to the open. So all I am doing is giving the BHP ADR equivalent as it trades tonight to give you an indication if it will open up or down on Monday. Cheers.

points at 4929.0 as Wall Street plunged, led by weakness in financials and tech stocks.
DJIA down 2.1% at 11147.44, S&P 500 down 2.3%, Nasdaq up 2.6%. Financials fell 5.2%,
with Fannie Mae down 13%, Freddie Mac down 24% amid ongoing concern over capital
requirements and Merrill Lynch down 9.2% after Fitch moved to negative credit watch.
Nymex crude near flat at US$136.05. Spot gold up US$9.00 at US$927.70. LME copper flat,
zinc up 5.75%, aluminum up 1.4%, nickel up 3.9%. U.K.-listed BHP (BLT.L) up 3.2%, Rio
Tinto PLC (RTP) up 2.9%. BHP (BHP.AU) ADRs at A$39.09 vs A$39.98 locally. Index last
