I also thought that the heat needed was within the PCM sensible heat range, about 850 degrees, for hot air to run through the turbine. Instead of using a combustion setup like gas fired turbines, aren't they heating the air via heat exchange from the silicon store? I didn't think the 1414 degrees range was required heat at all, basically latent heat takes more energy to get to and holds more energy, where the silicon gets its storage value..?
It seems as though biogas possibly requires an altered PCM to suit it's combustion characteristics and heat efficiencies. Like the differences between burning sweet natural gas vs sour natural gas?
