    GREENLAND
Greg Barnes, Chief Geologist for Australian mining co, Tanbreez Mining Ltd has "brought the Minister here to pitch his plan to turn the mountain they*re looking at into a mine."

"Its the world*s biggest rare earth deposit, its probably got 50% of the world*s rare earth in it, he claims."

"China dominates world supply, but if people like Greg Barnes are right, Greenland has the potential to be a major player. It*s not just rare earths - Greenland has reserves of gold, iron-ore, rubies and uranium as well as oil and gas. In this country of just 57,000 people with a GDP of $2.4bn [£1.5bn] developing those resources could have a big economic impact."

"The Tanbreez mine isnt the only one proposed in Narsaq. Another Australian co, Greenland Minerals & Energy is developing a rare earth mine at Kvanefjeld, a mountian plateau about 6km [3.7 miles] from the town."

    <>TANBREEZ & KVANEFJELD, Greenland
listed in " EU - Greenland workshop on raw materials by Henrik Stendal, Chief Geologist, Raw Materials Potential Of Greenland, Ministry of Mineral Resources ,Government Of Greenland." -pdf of 40 pages. Google this title to read if interested.

    Comment:
Given the potential size of the rare earths by Greg Barnes ie 50% of the world*s rare earths, it is inevitable that Greenland may come into focus. The US is looking for rare earths in Australia and other Western jurisdictions per press reports recently due to the trade war etc.

On the website of Tanbreez at https://tanbreez.com/en/latest-news/ it was stated: "Greenland can supply critical raw materials to the EU. There are 2 places, Kvanefjeldet in Narsaq...and Tanbreez between Narsaq and Qaqortoq."

"Greg Barnes was also named Prospector of the year by the Greenland government. -PDAC Prospector of the Year 2016"

<>PRESENTATION AT PDAC MAR 2018 - Click to read from the Tanbreez website as above.
    <>Construction Phase https://tanbreez.com/en/construction-phase/

"Currently, the construction phase is expected to start after the EXPLOITATION licence is granted, wherelse the operation stage is expected to start around 18 months after granting. The project is estimated to have a production life of several generations. It is anticipated that on acceptance of the study the Greenland Bureau of Minerals & Petroleum will permit conversion of the current exploration licence into an Exploitation licence. This will allow mining to PROCEED." DFS submitted + Environmental Reivews & Social Impact Assessments.

    Conclusion:
So, it appears from the latest news from Greenland Minerals [ASX: GGG] and Tanbreez, a mining licence and an exploitation licence is awaited.

Interesting that both companies [only 2 in the space in Greenland] are now awaiting the next step so it appears that Greenland*s rare earths could be entering a new era of rare earth mining if approvals are granted?

Greg Barnes is the largest shareholder in GGG [Perth family] per other press info?
