Strongly disagree. Paying more taxes is never the solution. Higher income earners will exit the country, foreign companies will invest elsewhere, and taxing success kills motivation.
Less tax allows the private sector to flourish and put back into the economy, leading to national growth. This is the basis of capitalism.
EVs make sense in terms of superior performance over ICE vehicles, and reducing smog in dense urban areas. EVs will eventually take over due to these reasons.
