Mum followed Hawthorn when they were in the association all those years ago and so of course did I for a while.
Went more to collect soft drink bottles and get a refund.
Football I could do without but because of my brother in laws association as player, coach etc with various clubs I
always had a great interest in what he was doing.
He has medals named after him and he can work miracles with clubs and keep kids on the straight and narrow. He
can draw players to a club and is a damn good fund raiser to boot. All of a sudden even volunteers appear.
He is well liked by all except dud committees who had failed over the years.

I am hopeless at any sport I have ever tried be it skiing, tennis, international rules basketball.
Probably did best at swimming but even then - well someone had to be in the lower grade. LOL

More suited to a library. LOL And don't think I have ever hit the right note in my attempt to sing.
