D chrome is correct although to be safe I have put the 14th in the diary as the last day. The 15th is probably correct. I don't know why they didn't put the ex date in the announcements. I saw the same problem brewing with the Gondwana Resources freebies (GDA) and asked the ceo to publish the ex date in addition to the record date, which they did and this clarifies the exact date as the last day to buy GDA for the bonus share for each 8 held and to also receive the 3 free (2010 expiry) GDAOC options for every 5 shares held is the 15th as the 16th is the ex date. The record date is relevant for anyone who converts existing options by faxing the conversion form and doing an electronic transfer on the record date by close of business on that date.
All a bit confusing but it's important to understand the consequences of the day before the ex date, the ex date and the record date for anyone who is an active trader and has shares and options in any company that is offering anything like a rights issue, free shares or a dividend as the dates if confused, can mean you miss the boat if you don't get it exactly correct.
