Unless the store business is owned by RFG (very few are ) then the the lean on the store lease is secured via a bond the Franchisee has with the leaser so RFG is ringfenced from being involved .
The bond is normally on the Franchisee's home
I read the Esquires(use to be part of RFG) contract about 6 years ago , almost bought in with them but fortunately dodged a bullet still bought the business but de branded it with an agreement with RFG .
