On my very crude analysis, RRT had gross assets of $2137mil at 31.12.07 and unitholders equity of $359 mil. So asset values only have to fall by 16.8% before unitholders funds disappear.
Let's hope the Canberra property devaluation of 14% is not across the board or we have not got much to look forward to.
They desperately need to sell a sizeable property tomorrow and for something close to book value. Awaiting the upcoming report with considerable nervousness.
