You should probably sell out and save yourself the worry then.
There is a saying “you pay peanuts, you get monkeys”. The tech world is a competitive place filled with brilliant minds and people. To build a globally relevant product, you need to ensure you have some of these people. And to retain that talent, you have to pay it. The directors are part of that talent base. Work hard Build something great. Get paid. I have no problem with that. The share price will do the right thing in due course.
If the short term volatility is too much for you, find another stock. Or if you like the company but don’t like the short term cost picture, then sell now and wait till youre happier with the financials to buy back.
Just my opinion as the most logical course of action for you/others with these concerns...
