I have seen two lease agreements one where the franchisee's home was the bond and another where the bond was with the bank as the poster mentioned , obviously the bond on the home is a far more onerous position to be in that a small bank guarantee .
Wonder what proportion of leases are securitised by a bank guarantee and what proportion have a house for security .
