I have been trying to work it out what 'no news' means myself.

Certainly, a major glitch would have needed to be advised to the market so you can probably rule that out. Going back on what management have previously advised this scenario was quite unlikely in any case.

So either:

1. A few teething problems however management do not think it is news worthy as more chips are readily available, then more testing, not quite there but almost and a few more days, weeks and more chips, more testing......... but all an on going process which and when we complete the announcement will be made OR

2. All testing to date is positive everything is going as planned but need to finish the cycle of testing before management write up and publish the results.

If either 1. or 2. the announcement should be positive.
