It was a TA trade and obviously wrong with hindsight. I sold at open and opened a short position which I have subsequently closed for a few percent gain. So all up a zero sum game. EV sales will grow, but not at the pace that most are forecasting. I'm forecasting 800-900k LCE by 2025, which is quite a bit short of consensus. The incumbents should be able to supply the market if this eventuates and therefore no supply issues. SDV and JB will struggle to get offtakers, IMO. We already know the industry is practically valuing it at next to worthless with no deal from 40 interested parties and the equity markets not giving it much value either. What miracle event are people envisaging is going to occur that will make it worth something?
