No PB morning report to wake up to (don't know how she does it each morning?) so I thought I would share a few random thoughts (certainly no PB tho')

A copy of a couple of emails I sent to a few Investment buddies just before then after the US markets opening last evening;

I just think MrMarket never looked more precarious..... CB’s doing all their work for 10 years since HFC; world economies still stuffed from what I see.   3 surprising rate cuts including NZ over last 24 hours and currencies & long term yields (which I never pretend to understand) going nuts .... I just reckon SM’s to follow ...

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Ps bought 3 gold stocks today .... insurance policy on lovely USD gold chart.

Ps2. Last week seriously looked at bitcoin again (why not $10k or $20k worth?). ... it’s gone up 30% in August!!! 20% over weekend ..... I really believe it’s starting to be seen as “a new store of wealth”.  Potential for it to be worth anything.... or nothing of course!

Wall st just opened 400+ DOWN

OUTCOME:

Of course the PPT (Plunge Protection Team) were called and got the major indices RUT, SPX and Dow back to about even, Dasdaq +ive and the DJT stayed -ive.

Is this a +ive; I dont think so  ... was going to post a few charts but market opening ...
