I guess when you think about it, what's going on right now isn't necessarily a bad thing.

My read of it is that there are possibly some people taking profit from buying in at (say) 1 cent.

It pretty much forms a new base doesn't it? (ie. all that buy at 1.9 or 2.0 are going to want more than that when they sell)....
