To arrive at a decision to Buy or sell you read the facts from both sides.
Fact 1 the Bonitas report lacks a professional tone. Full of emotive statements as follows .. Incestuous mentioned (2 times), Fabricated mentioned (21 times), Nefarious (7 Times) Fraud (8 times), dubious (8 times), fake (5 times) … get the picture.
Do you buy and sell on emotion or fact?
Fact 2 - They don't understand what a Retail Trust is (possibly the laws are different in the US) as RFM is the manager of the trust.
In the report they are confused on why compensation is paid from RFM to MD yet same compensation not paid by the trust … really how can you possibly accept these inaccurate statements. They do admit they don't understand the AU law … hence disclaimer.
Do you buy or sell on a report that lacks knowledge on Australian law?
Fact 3 - Management are more than happy for another Auditor to review the facts … ie Financials already provided and checked by a non emotive EY. Do you buy or sell on PWC and EY reputation or a short seller?
I could go on … but have no more time to dedicate to this.
