LKE has been remarkably resilient in the last few days having weathered the battering of the new issues and a slightly premature Cauchari announcement (no problem with that we would still have been waiting otherwise).
This slide is not to imply the relative merits of the three stocks but to gauge their performance in the same market conditions. From a layman's perspective (which I am) LKE most definitely has established a platform on which to build. It has a skillfully crafted cash accumulation to undertake a well planned orderly programme. Perhaps a step ladder might be an appropriate term for the chart in the weeks and months to come.
We are at "Kachi PFS minus 16 weeks" and counting. Only then with a solid result (i.e. a cost of production of say less than USD 3,200 will buyers / partners show their colours (green).
Successful operation of the direct extraction pilot plant (faster startup, higher TOTAL resource recovery) will make LAKE a highly desirable asset
Until then we have the Cauchari wrap and the intriguing prospect of Olarez to keep the short term players occupied
