good news overnight. from the pls forum.ALB have confirmed this morning (refer their Q2 earnings release) that the Wodgina conversion plant (100ktpa) will not be built. They have also announced that stages 3 to 5 of Kemerton (75ktpa) will also not be built. That is, they have taken 175ktpa of conversion capacity out of their expansion plans.ALB share price up 13% for the day (including after hours trading).This is good news for the industry, from a supply and demand perspective, and good news for PLS and its offtake partners.
