So this announcement has already pointed to the fact that they are trying to get Wonarah up and running earlier than they expected with April 2010 being the initial start phase. This announcement drags that back 3 months which is fantastic. It may still be possible that the date comes back to Sep 2009 which was HotDunnas tip last week from memory.

Road and Rail studies are very important considering the amount of bulldust sprayed around on this thread by the Doubting Thomases. Those studies should confirm the ability to move the product and indicate the cost of transport also.

A shame the prefeasibility appears to have been put back one month but with the extra information from the drilling programme it is not surprising. That is a point the down rampers can jump all over, and they can have it. The remainder of the report is very positive.

My calculations on 80% of the Fluorite deposit at 0.4MTpa puts gross cashflow at 100mil per year. If they take half in profit, then it isn't a bad little earner. that is assuming that there is nothing else extractable besides fluorite.


I love the flat, straight picture of the Barkly highway, you could probably set your cruise control and go off into the back of the truck, make a sandwich, have a nap and still have time to slow down before the first bend!
