It all has to happen by the end of the month (IMHO of course):

    1. Yeo Bee Yin is told to resign or gets kicked out – a reshuffle if she’s lucky:

Reasoning: Dr. M has shredded her credibility - She ignored her own expert committee and the facts. She totally misjudged and mishandled the situation causing significant damage to Malaysia’s future economy. She was given plenty of rope and now finds that she has hung herself. The government now find themselves in damage control because of her and she is definitely not the right person to fix her own mess.

    1. The innovation Minister takes over MESTEC responsibilities:

Reasoning: He’s pro-business and investment. He also understands that the Lynas risks have been blown out of all proportion and he is in alignment with Dr. M’s thoughts and realization. This also sends a seriously positive message to foreign investors. (Condisoil also gets an eventual thumbs up and license to sell. Again for common sense reasons.)

    1. Fuziah is demoted from Deputy Minister and told to shut up/ cease association with SMSL/ Stop bashing Lynas.

Reasoning: Dr. M has marked her as lying about the facts surrounding Lynas and with being in with the wrong crowd, i.e. crazy activists/ SMSL/ weird NGO’s, etc..

    1. The LAMP license is renewed for 4 years on favourable terms by the new minister.

Reasoning: A limited duration or onerously termed license would send the wrong message to investors – something that Dr. M took pains to explain that Malaysia must be investor friendly and long term stable.

    1. Westfarmers puts in a new (Low ball) bid at $3.75/ share – partly cash and partly shares to avoid needing excessive loan financing. (With a proper bid from WES we might only then see a bidding war.)

Reasoning: Bid: WES sees themselves as a new technology commodity conglomerate – lithium (Kidman), rare earths (Lynas) … and who’s next, graphite (troubled but cashed up Syrha?), etc. WES also sees huge potential in Mount Weld’s other resources that could be worth an additional fortune to them. Bidding war: Other interested parties such as the Japanese probably wouldn’t want WES in control at just about any cost – forget the fundamentals, it’s strategic.

    1. Wong Tak and Bun Teet get side lined as loonies and told to shut up or face legal action by Lynas – with full Malaysian government support.

Reasoning: Dr. M and the reshuffled cabinet must put a stop to their damaging political propaganda.

    1. The Lynas share price goes ballistic!
    Reasoning: No brainer!
