I wonder if anyone took the time to read PJK’s analysis of why the ALP lost the election and what they need to do to get within the new landscape. I, like you, am cherry picking Keating comments for my purposes. ALP flip flops constantly provide the opportunity. The fact remains the ALP treat the voter with contempt -constantly telling them what is good for them without finding out what constituents believe is important and how to develop policies to achieve ends in sync with those wishes. Yep, the Libs have been Labor lite at times as well, sitting on their hands, especially during the tenure of the Magnificent (not) Malcolm. unfortunately the political classes around the world appear to be either dross or demonic psychopaths. Ill take my punt with Scomo tho’ and watch the patronising ALP tear itself apart. As for the Greens - utterly mad, devoid of reason, self aggrandising, hypocritical muppets.
