mickyduncan, you only need to see how much the gold in the ground is valued with both majors, minors and speccies. NCM's gold is valued fully and moves with the gold price - yet when gold goes up $50 that is sheer profit for NCM. It doesn't take a mathematician to work out what a significant gold price increase will do to NCM and LGL etc Similar rules apply for explorers except there are some unknowns, for example do they have access to electricity, water and finance. Do they have sufficient ounces to amortise the cost of setting up a plant? Would they be attractive to a major and why? In my view there is much more to be made with explorers who have the goods. Some explorers will go ballistic, even more than majors and gold itself. There is cause for considerable optimism.
