@Basileus as always I appriciate your time and response. That goes the same for anyone on this tread. I'm 42 now and decided to take some control of my own financial future. Currently I am testing the water here with some limited funds. I am under no illusion that total financial freedom will be easy. I only hope that with time and focus I may be able to one day self manage my own super fund. I have limited resources and limited time now however what I now do have is a reason. So I do not lement the wasted years of clubs and nights out as an excuse that its now to late. Rather like some of the above comments time is the only thing standing in my way. The way I see it is it may only take one to start. Bas I don't known you any more than a stranger knows a busker in the street. But while some choose to walk past some think go for it here's a buck for trying. I'm not looking for a hand out, just a hand up. The rest as it should be is up to all of us. There is no free lunches after all. So to anyone who might come across this thread who is willing offer some advice on investing with the simple intention that always do your own research, make your own decisions and you are only as good as the choices YOU make.
