Uni it strikes me the Southerners seem better organised politically with greater widespread support than the Hotel Government(love your term and so accurate). Looking at what little I could glean from the Aden conflict it appears the Hotel Govt forces more or less said to the Southeners, here have it, we are not fighting you, you are our friends. If so, perhaps that would carry over to unify the hoteliers and the Southeners?
Meantime the Houthis are infighting big time and seem more interested in fighting in Saudi rather than for their own territory. I can not see that being sustainable. I also imagine Iran is not that impressed with the Houthi given the disorganisation and lack of progress after all these years. Perhaps Iranian support will wane a little.
