No wonder I have trouble when I catch something I don't recognise, and it never looks like anything in my 'fish book' on the boat.... Ask the experts and get 10 different answers.... that's why I never eat them unlesss I can see it's a bream, whiting, flathead etc etc...all the common stuff!
Did catch 2 beautiful cod one day though - they swam into the crap trap as we were coming back into the marina, and they were brilliant eating!
