    again gently ...... a 1950's car battery does indeed have 6 cells cos it uses lead-acid technology.

    as we move into the space age we are finding battery technology to be evolving (think why do mobile phones no longer have replaceable batteries - the answer is NOT that we are happy to throw the phones away, the answer is that we now use malleable batteries (so the need for a hard case enclosing the cells is eliminated - and with that we can increase the IP rating of the phone at the same time as we reduce weight and volume).

    Battery technology is evolving - a 12v car battery that uses Lithium does NOT have 6 cells. It DOES NOT MATTER how many cells are inside a battery to the consumer - they do not care.

    Humbly suggest you go a place and ask to look at (pick up) a car or motorcycle battery that uses Lithium instead of Lead. You will get a real pleasant surprise as to where we are today with battery technology.

    Spoiler: There are NOT 6 cells that battery you are picking up ..... but it is 12v.
