There has been a drop is pervieced prices (if that is the right word to use in this context).
You buy a house for $350K, renovate using $50K and try sell for $500K as that is the value 'you' put on the property.
The market decides the real price which in this case may only be $385K. Actual price has gone up 10% however the owner has lost money so cries foul how the market has turned.
