big e - a broad smile is something I managed, even though my voice was croaky - I even had a wonderful and interesting conversation with a Frenchman at the check-in-counter at Heathrow (I was there, first guest, in splendid isolation in a wheelchair) about Brexit - got his entire life history from him, married to an Englishwoman, thinks Brexit is a bad thing for Britain, talked politics, etc. - he then (end of Jan) thought Boris Johnston would become Prime Minister, got the lowdown on the Opposition etc. educated man.
I am 'chatty' and am always interested in other people, that helps. Funny thing is, I was rather shy as a young person, but always managed a smile and NBD calls me as 'curious as a cat'. (but you have the same attitude 'n-est pas? @-,-'- )
My artist daughter in England is the opposite, unfortunately, but seems to have a retinue of unrequited 'loves' of both sexes - search me, how I managed to have a child like that. I hope you are much better - I had no electricity for half the day - interesting experience! MT
