I do know a major shareholder who offered his considerable knowledge and experience
that would assist the Company in meeting it's requirements on a number of fronts.
This was offered in good faith and did not require a salary. This was rejected.
If you have the onerous responsibility of managing shareholders money and value
your administration needs at least a modicum of managerial support.
It is patently obvious that the MD is all over the place. He is no doubt a good geologist
and this is where he needs to apply his time.
Managing promotion, accurate web site information ( much more important in modern
times ) and general office duties, plus other factors comes into play.
The recent debacle on producing an initial Jorc for Collerina with the time line out by 9 months is a case in point. Blaming it on the weather does not cut it.
Getting advice early before making statements like this to the market is surely a minimum.
Obviously this was not a responsible approach.
It is laudable to have a drill program at Collerina that has proven to be efficient.
The time taken is glacial ( geologist thinking, not corporate thinking ) and the satellite
drilling should have been tackled a year ago, to BUILD momentum.
It is more and more likely that the incumbents have become too blase and comfortable
to bother about returning shareholders emails, phone calls etc.
The place does need a shake up.
