Why are you saying that no-one spends money on EV's in a recession. EV's are bucking the trend currently with an increasing market share of the overall car market while ICE vehicles continue to decline. People still need transport in a recession and thereby the need to replace old vehicles. When money is tight they are likely to look at operational costs and see that EV's give a better return on tight wallets.
