supertramp,
and others please correct me if i'm wrong, as i'm no geo,
but i thought the real targets were deeper?
Otherwise, a drilling schedule 2500 deep?
Were they really expecting an oil show that shallow?
It is a wildcat hole afterall.
What depths and what expectations are held?
Just becasue they say there were no oil shows but evidence of oil movement previosly in that region, has to have the glass half full.
Did it seep lower? It has to migrate to where a seal is, so just keep drilling.
Please advise, again, I'm a novice in the oil arena.
And how do they have these massvie targets and expectations of helium, and CBM, and oil? Seismic?
I just think that however they draw their expectations, must be based on more than i can understand, or interpret, but a "no oil show" in a shallow horizon, is not a valid reason to run for the hills.
The entrie market has been down, so, any little bit of anxiety, will be reason for a few to sell, and a few more to follow.
And while it is valid to follow momentum, it is important to ask if the fundemenatals have been given a fatal flaw, but i dont think that is the case.
I hold.
cheers
