Thanks once again stevea171. I clearly recall the vote but have limited knowledge of Australian company law and so I'm intrigued by the possibility of an EGM if the vote result is repeated this year.
Whilst I can appreciate that there have been some advantages to the cautious approach taken by the directors (avoidance of dilution being the main one), I have also felt for some considerable time that this company needs a more active board to regain some real shareholder value. From all that I have seen over many years the current board are just not up to the job as their default mode is passive, hunkered down, collecting their salaries. Their response (or lack of same) to the remuneration vote says it all.
