My reference is that a true storage will fill and empty in a couple of minutes
All of the chemical generators are pure generators with ZERO storage
With the molten silicon sysem it is just a shock absorber for an existing poor performing system, IE it does not have instant generation of power
It works in a similar fashion to a pumped hydro system and once the supply is depleted takes a period of tiem before it can be used again
What Australia needs is permanent, constant, uninterrupted, cheap power supply
Other countries nay need all these inefficient renewable s etc because they have no other alternative
Australia was fortunate in having enormous supplies of gas, coal high and low grade, nuclear and hydro, I say was because of the warlike actions of unqualified people who are steadily dismantling one of the worlds best and cheapest power sytems
