Another shout of praise goes up to Jehovah!, page-486

AFAIK it's only the JW who use the name Jehovah as what's known in marketing as a point of differentiation.
The OT Isaiah and other references are there only to identify the particular God that is being spoken of ... since there were (and are) a plethora acknowledged and worshipped at the time.

BTW I would not regard Byington's translation as independent from the Watch Tower org.
Interestingly, as quoted by you, he translated Isaiah 42:8 as ".. and I will not give my glory to another and my praise to scriptures."
Why "scriptures" instead of graven images or idols as per just about every other translation ?

Jehovah, Lord, God, Yaweh etc are a symbol used for identification not some absolute "personal" name.
You just repeat your same claim but don't address the more important issue that ascribing a "personal" name to the Creator of The Universe is about as disrespectful as it's possible to be.
