LNC is trying to be the first company to use UCG Syngas to feed into F-T reactor to form ultraclean deisel and jet fuel. LNC conducted their trial burn at Chichilla 1999 through to 2002 and has been working on the CTL problem since 2004. CNX is focussing on producing fertiliser using UCG. Given that LNC has conducted the trial burn it has removed that technical risk.
