Don't agree with you. Without making any comment about this particular matter;
The appeals process is as important as the original trial.
Mistakes are sometimes made we have seen this before.
Everyone has the right to appeal against the original conviction and sentence, including the DPP when they decide to.
So let the system do it's job.
