I've been playing around with https://map.sarig.sa.gov.au and it gives some interesting insights into horse well.

I've included historic holes (red dots) and gravity lines.

You can see Oak Dam West and Oak Dam on this map also for comparison.

I can certainly see why majors would want to drill this area. The original horse well hole looks to be in the wrong place to me.

CHK have some very attractive gravity traps around the 6183 wording on the map.

For context I've also done a similar map of Olympic Dam

I think 10 holes at Oak Dam West is just the start looking at this map.
